A marriage bureau run the way one should be — a smaller register, verified profiles, and a person who knows your file.
Why we started
Anubhandha began because families kept telling us the same thing: the big matrimony sites give you thousands of profiles and no one to talk to. You pay, you scroll, and you have no idea which of those profiles is real.
We took the opposite approach. A smaller register, every profile verified in person, and a matchmaker who knows both families before an introduction is made. It is slower to build. It works better.
Ten years on, most of our registrations come from a family who was introduced by another family we helped.

Every file is handled by one matchmaker from registration to introduction. They meet the family, verify the documents, prepare the shortlist and make the first approach — so you never re-explain what you are looking for, and nobody is passed between departments.
- Every profile verified against a government ID before publication
- Horoscope matching through experienced astrologers, on request

A profile we cannot verify does not go on the register, however much the member wants it there.
Privacy is not a setting
Contact details and photographs move only with consent. We have never sold or shared a member’s data.
Say what we can do
We will tell you honestly if we do not have suitable profiles for your preferences rather than sell you a plan.
