1. About these terms

These terms apply to every profile registered with Anubhandha Matrimony ("we", "us") and to your use of this website. By registering a profile, taking a membership plan, or sending an enquiry through this site, by phone or by WhatsApp, you agree to them.

2. Who may register

You may register only if you are legally permitted to marry under Indian law — that is, you are of legal marriageable age and are not currently married. A profile for a second marriage may be registered once the previous marriage has been legally dissolved or ended by bereavement, and we will ask to see the decree or certificate.

A profile may be registered by the prospective bride or groom, or by a parent, sibling or close relative on their behalf. Where a relative registers, we will speak to the prospective bride or groom directly during verification.

3. Accuracy of information

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on your profile: age, education, occupation, income, marital status, family details and photographs. Giving false information is a breach of these terms and we will remove the profile without a refund.

We verify profiles against documents to the extent we reasonably can. Verification is a check, not a guarantee: we do not certify any member’s character, intentions or suitability, and you should make your own enquiries before committing to a marriage.

4. What our service is

We are an introduction service. We shortlist profiles, approach families on your behalf and arrange first conversations. We do not promise a marriage, a specific number of suitable matches, or any timeline for finding one. Any statement we make about likelihood is an opinion, not a commitment.

5. Membership and payment

Registration and verification are free. A membership plan is required for introductions and the release of contact details. The fee, the term and the number of introductions included are those stated on the plan at the time you pay.

Fees are payable in advance. A plan starts on the date payment is received and expires at the end of its term, whether or not the included introductions have been used. Unused introductions do not carry forward to a renewal.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Privacy and contact details

Contact details are released only with your consent, and only to a member whose family has agreed to the introduction. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

You must not use another member’s details for any purpose other than considering a marriage proposal. Using them for marketing, harassment, solicitation, or passing them to a third party is a serious breach and will result in immediate removal without a refund, and may be reported to the police.

7. Conduct

Members are expected to behave respectfully towards each other and towards our staff. We may suspend or remove a profile, without refund, where a member misrepresents themselves, harasses another member, solicits money, or is found to be married or otherwise ineligible.

8. Photographs and content

You must own, or have permission to use, every photograph and document you give us. By supplying them you allow us to show them to other members in line with the privacy settings you choose. We will not use your photographs in advertising, on our public pages or in a success story without asking you first and getting your agreement in writing.

9. Suspension, removal and closure

You may ask us to put your profile on hold or delete it at any time, without giving a reason. On deletion we remove the profile and the verification documents we hold, subject to any record we are required by law to keep.

10. Limitation of liability

We are liable for our own failure to provide the service you paid for. We are not liable for the conduct, statements or decisions of another member, for the outcome of any introduction or marriage, or for any loss arising from information a member gave us that turned out to be false. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies to your membership from the date it is posted; a change that materially affects an active plan will be notified to you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
